Meet Dr. Catherine Weng

Dr. Catherine Weng MD FACS is an exceptional surgeon with a remarkable educational background and a wealth of experience in the field of facial plastic surgery. With a passion for providing transformative results and enhancing her patients’ lives, Dr. Weng has garnered a glowing reputation for her expertise and dedication.

Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon

She holds board certifications by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.   She has a special interest in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the nose and face. 

She is one of the finest facial plastic surgeons in the   greater Philadelphia area.  She is well regarded by her peers and highly sought after by patients.

Art & Science at MIT

Dr. Weng completed her undergraduate studies at MIT where she studied architecture and design and biology. Her unique combination of artistic sensibility and scientific knowledge has  shaped her  approach to facial plastic surgery.

Although she did not pursue a career in architecture, her training in design has influenced her aesthetic eye in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Top Notch Training & Research

She then attended the very selective Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine program at Case Western Reserve University where she was among a small group of 32 students selected to be a novel medical school curriculum with emphasis in research.

Dr. Weng then completed a rigorous 5 year residency program in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Facial Plastic Surgery Training with Renowned Surgeon

After residency, Dr. Weng then completed an additional year long fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with the world renowned former president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Vito Quatela in Rochester, NY. During her fellowship, Dr. Weng trained extensively in facial plastic surgery including rhinoplasty, facelift, blepharoplasty, as well as office injectables.

Dr Weng is widely published having authored numerous book chapters and research articles the field of facial plastic surgery.  She is frequent reviewer for and invited commentary contributor of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, the premier journal of the Aesthetic Society and the American Society if Plastic Surgery. Dr. Weng’s commitment to continuous learning and professional growth is evident through her extensive participation in presentations and publications. She has shared her knowledge and research findings at prestigious conferences. Her contributions to medical literature  showcase her intellectual rigor and commitment to advancing the field of facial plastic surgery.

When she is not seeing patients and operating, Dr. Weng enjoys running with her dogs, and spending time with her family.
